At Amazing Flower Farm we grow annuals & locally hardy perennials including Proven Winners and Wave Petunias. Our vegetable plants include both heirloom and common varieties. Our big retail greenhouse allows you to shop under cover, whatever the weather. You can also count on finding our specialty: interesting, unusual plants at Amazing Flower Farm.
We create stunning Hanging Baskets and patio containers. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is available to help you select plants that will work best in your conditions. We also sell Chicken Gold--our own well-aged chicken manure--which will make your garden very happy. Sign up at our website for our free e-newsletter for workshop announcements and seasonal pre-orders on fruit trees and baby chicks.
When you buy from Amazing Flower Farm you know that your plants have been grown with great respect for our environment and our local economy. We grow almost everything we sell right here on the farm. You can bring us your unbroken, empty pots--we wash and sanitize containers for re-use; we use beneficial insects instead of chemical pesticides; we use (and sell) Daniels Plant Food, a natural oilseed extract, for our fertilizer; we heat primarily with wood pellets to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels; our greenhouses are designed to conserve electricity and water--every method we choose in growing plants for you encourages a healthy environment.
We also know that you, our customers, make it all possible. Our Plant Card is one way we show all of our customers our appreciation. Fill out a Plant Card on your first visit every season. We keep it at Amazing Flower Farm--you don't have to remember it. We record every purchase on your Plant Card; on Independence Day we tally it all up and mail it to you. Bring your Plant Card back for a 12% credit which you can use on any plant purchase through the end of the season.
