Every Autumn in New Hampshire, it’s the same glorious scene: trees awash in stunning color; crisp, fresh air; apples ripe for the picking; glowing orange pumpkin patches; and the lure of activities that take us outdoors to enjoy the full experience of Autumn.
Autumn’s Passage captures the poignant experience of Autumn through a series of vignettes, each celebrating the beauty and rich traditions of fall from the ripe, heady days of harvest to the arrival of the first frost. It includes prose and poetry by Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Poet Laureate Donald Hall, and other writers.
