"For more than six years, thanks to NH Made, I've enjoyed great connections to New Hampshire and people who value small business services and creativity. NH Made has made that possible to me, in uncountable ways, and always with exceptionally friendly energy, professionalism, and responsive enthusiasm. Invaluable, these folks and what they offer, not only to the success of my fiber arts business, but to life in New Hampshire. I use the logo proudly on every piece I make in my fiber studio here at Milkweed Arts. Long live NH Made!"
- Emily Archer, Milkweed Arts
Planet Marshmallow has only been in business since January 1, 2011 and we can already see the many benefits of being a NH Made member. Several retailers contacted us solely based on seeing us on your website. Personally, we have used your website to collaborate with other NH Made members, including finding a chocolate company and a company to create the graham crackers for our unique, NH gourmet s'mores kit. We are proud to display our NH Made logo, and customers often comment on it as it is universally understood to mean a high quality product. It's by far, the smartest $75 we have spent since starting our business. Thanks for all you do!
- Kristi Buttler, Planet Marshmallow, Inc.
Established in 1969, Parker's Maple Barn is a family owned restaurant very well known throughout the New England area for their famous hearty breakfast menu served all day. Whether it is to coordinate wholesale/retail pricing, check on availability of products, or share marketing techniques, NH MADE members are there for each other. As far as our retail customers are concerned, seeing the NH MADE logo on the products that we sell gives them a sense of pride knowing that they are buying quality, locally made/produced items. Thank you NH MADE!
- Ron Roberts, Parkers Maple Barn
NH Made is a marketing avenue for us to advertise our local product. We use the the NH Made website and logo material to identify us with local product. We display NH Made brand in our retail store and on our shelf talkers at our wholesale customers. This branding is beneficial as more people are looking to purchase locally made products.
- Eric Wiswall, Haunting Whisper Vineyards
" NH Made offers Pamomile Fine Soaps and Accessories opportunities, exposure, business growth strategies, and connections that otherwise would not be readily available or easily accessible." Pamomile has been in business since 2000, is a recent NH Made member, does collaborate somewhat with other members, and does use the NH Made logo.
- Pam Cornwell, Pamomile Soaps
NH Made provides a strong, clear, statewide organizing fulcrum and voice to all of us who produce and promote NH products.
- Mary Ann Kristiansen, Hannah Grimes Marketplace
When you are self-employed, it's not always easy to see the big picture or have time to find the channels to market your products. NH Made is constantly finding new ways to make the small businessperson a success.
- Denise Brown, Raccoon Studios
NH Made has been an excellent catalyst for us, getting our small business stimulated to exhibit our products at relevant shows, offering multiple opportunities for exposure, organizing or linking us to excellent business education opportunities, and helping us keep our eye on the PR ball.
- Louisa Spencer, Farnum Hill Ciders/Poverty Lane Orchards
Many shop owners have seen our pottery in the NH Stores and have called us for an order. Since the first NH Directory came out, we have contacted many other stores in the directory and have opened up new accounts that way. The NH Stores themselves have become significant customers of ours.
- Eric and Sue Ebbeson, Ebbeson Pottery
NH Made has been a tremendous tool in growing our business. It has opened many doors. It is nice to know answers to problems are just a phone call away. Anyone with a business in New Hampshire should not overlook being a member!
- Dave & Patti Fuller, Fullers Sugarhouse
The enthusiastic support for the promotion of our products has been head and shoulders above the many other associations in which we participate. The NH Stores promote Flag Hill Winery products better than my expensive advertising at a fraction of the cost.
- Frank Reinhold, Flag Hill Winery
New Hampshire Magazine's purpose is to discover and reveal the stories of our state, so we naturally value our membership in an organization designed to help companies, small and large, tell their own tales in the most compelling way. New Hampshire Stories, Inc. has been a treasure trove of ideas and information for us over the years.
- Rick Broussard, Editor, New Hampshire Magazine
NH desperately needs an organization like NH Made! I sell products that are only made in New England. We turn to many sources to purchase such items and for years, New ampshire had nothing to compete with our neighboring states in this regard. Now we have NH Made!
- Peter B. Edwards, President, Zeb's General Store, Inc.
NH Made has helped us at Apple Hill Farm with it's networking within the state. As a farmer, my first passion is growing fruit, and NH Made has helped me market my jams and jellies statewide.
- Diane Souther, Apple Hill Farm
NH Made was created to establish a common identity applicable to all NH businesses; to subsequently foster their economic growth. The organization has never wavered from that goal and it has become a respected promoter of New Hampshire goods and services. It has devised ingenious partnerships with state government (eg: Liquor Commission, Lottery Commission, OTTD, DRED) and the media, so that all member businesses are strengthened.
- Lois Ford, Bellows House Bakery
At Garfield's Smokehouse, we have benefited a great deal from New Hampshire Stories, especially since you opened the two stores on I-93. Your store managers have done a great job promoting our smoked cheese and we thank you for getting us free state-wide advertising on Channel 9's "New Hampshire Chronicles."
- Don Garfield, Garfield's Smokehouse
D F Custom Embroidery was one of the first members to join NH Made in 1997. We've been busy ever since with NH Made members producing special products for gift shop owners all over New Hampshire, including the two NH Stores.
- Diane Fortin, DF Custom Embroidery
Collectively, the members of NH Made are able to create greater visibility and awareness than most of them could achieve individually.
