  4. Use local sunscreen and bug repellent products this summer!
  5. Visit our two NH Stores on I-95 in Hampton-filled to the brim with great member products!
  6. Hosting a bbq this summer? Try using all local meats and bbq sauces!
  7. Fill your cooler for the beach with locally made soda.
  8. Experience one of the wine and cheese or chocolate tours!
  9. Seek out our NH MADE Retailers for your gift giving needs this summer.

Step Into Springtime….

…at your local greenhouse! They not only have wonderful seedlings and colorful plantings but many of them also have fun hands-on offerings! If you haven’t visited your local greenhouse this week, might we suggest it! Spider Web Gardens in Tuftonboro has the most wonderful sounding workshops scheduled….seed starting, terrariums for Mom, fairy gardens and more! Be sure to check out their facebook page for all the details. Spring Ledge Farm in New London has a simply wonderful selection of workshops as well (Seed ball one this coming Saturday the 18th!) – Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford has been family owned and operated for 45 years! Roberts Greenhouse in Webster is a color palate! They really are a breath of fresh spring air! Be sure to take a selfie and post it to Instagram with #nhspring so we can add it to our collage!

February Store Team Member Favorite Product Pick!

Devon’s favorite store item for the month of February is the woodlands design hand painted glassware from Boyd and Doyle in Hancock. The glassware is dishwasher safe (glasses are fired after painting.) These are the perfect addition to your wine glass collection or as a special gift! The NH MADE Team will be in booth #101, right at the entrance at New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair, The Annual NH Farm & Forest Expo. The Expo runs Friday, February 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel  on 700 Elm Street in Manchester. NH MADE is very fortunate to have a wonderfully talented board of trustees. We benefit from their expertise and talents daily! We held our annual meeting of the board yesterday at our log cabin offices in Epping. The NH MADE Team presented an overview of our projects, endeavors and promotions in 2014 which included a lively “Did you know…” presentation including facts like;


DID YOU KNOW that…we welcomed 121 new members in 2014, from a jewelry maker in Bennington to a Creamery in Contoocook?
DID YOU KNOW that… every logo item we offer members for sale (and for free) is made by a NH MADE service member?
DID YOU KNOW that…The Hampton stores sold 127,900 total items for NH Made Members (1,070 different items from 126 different members)?
DID YOU KNOW that…The International Regional Magazine Association based in Oklahoma held its convention in Portsmouth and ordered an assortment of member’s products for attendees?
DID YOU KNOW that…our NH Tourism Partners brought 50 custom Oxpond Press signs to serve as center pieces on the media tables at Canadian Media  mission in Toronto? (Live Free & Write, Create, Scenic White Mountains, Lucky enough to live in seacoast and Live well/love much/laugh often signs.)
