Steeped in over 200 years of New Hampshire agricultural history, Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm takes delight in "preserving the past, to educate the future." Located in the picturesque village of Tamworth, a visit offers a glimpse into rural New Hampshire history and highlights ways one can learn from it agriculturally and domestically. Remick is one of only three country doctor museums in the United States and provides hands-on, season-based opportunities to connect all generations with rural New Hampshire history, the significant contributions once made by country doctors, historic agricultural, domestic and foodways practices, and rural pastimes and lore. The Museum & Farm offers activities, tours, workshops, educational programming, field trips and Seasonal & Signature Events. It also maintains a “buy local” Museum Store which sells Remick sustainably-raised ground beef, lamb and pork sausage meat, eggs, maple syrup, a variety of vegetables, flowers and fresh herbs (in season), and dried herbs, teas, and other herbal helps and healers. New Hampshire-crafted arts and products are also available. Open year-round.
