KRISTINE MOSSEY CHAIRS NH MADE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
EPPING, NH FEBRUARY 2014 – NH MADE announced a new Chair of its Board of Trustees at the organization’s Annual Meeting on January, 15th 2014: Kristine Mossey of Milford, NH, a third generation apple grower. Since 1995, she has managed her family’s farm, McLeod Bros. Orchards, which has been in business more than 60 years.
For the past 6 years, Mossey has been actively promoting New Hampshire’s Farmers’ Markets and educating the public on the importance of local agriculture in her roles as the former President of the NH Farmers’ Market Association and currently as Secretary of NH Agriculture in the Classroom.
“I have a lifelong passion for the NH way of life and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work closely with the NH MADE board, staff and members as we work to strengthen local businesses in our state.”
Since 2009, Mossey has been an active member of NH MADE’s board, representing state agencies, agriculture and business support organizations, small business owners and corporate supporters.
